Heidi Doerhoff Vollet

Heidi joined CVDL in January 2009 after serving in the Missouri Attorney General's Office as Counsel to the Chief Deputy from 2005 to 2009.  At CVDL, her practice focuses on complex business and governmental-issues litigation and appellate matters, particularly those involving state and federal constitutional issues and extraordinary writs.

Heidi clerked for the Honorable William H. Rehnquist, Chief Justice of the United States, during the October 2001 term of the United States Supreme Court and for the Honorable John R. Gibson, U.S. Judge for the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, from 2000 to 2001. From 2002 until 2005, she practiced in the Washington, D.C. office of Covington & Burling.

In 2011, she was selected as a Missouri "Super Lawyer," a distinction earned after a rigorous, multiphase ratings process and which is limited to the top 5% of attorneys in the state.

Heidi is active in the Missouri Bar and has spoken on professionalism and legal writing. She has been a member of the Young Lawyers Section Council of the Bar since 2005, and was the Chair of the Council from September 2010-September 2011.

Heidi lives in Jefferson City with her husband Kevin and their children. They are active members of St. Joseph Cathedral parish. Heidi is the Vice President of the Rotary Club of Jefferson City and serves on the board of Mid-Missouri Legal Services Corporation, which provides legal aid services in a 10 county-area in central Missouri.

Honors: In 2011, Heidi was among a handful of attorneys in Missouri to receive a President's Award from Missouri Bar President John Johnston for her service to the Missouri Bar.  In July 2010, she was honored with a Lilburne Award for her committment to protecting the right to petition the government. In 2007, she was named one of the top up-and-coming lawyers by Missouri Lawyers' Weekly. She received recognition in 2004 for her pro bono service in successfully representing 55 customers in a public accommodations lawsuit against a national restaurant chain. In 2003, she was named a Distinguished Recent Graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law.
